BALI YOGA RETREAT
|
What we will do? |
A 7-day Yoga vacation is for you to enjoy yoga, different practices, meditations and engaging conversations. Our days include at least two Vinyasa classes to unite the mind, body and soul. We will find silence through Yin Yoga, raising our awareness of the body-mind connection, and crossing boundaries trough meditation and various practices. Trough experiences we learn to feel ourselves, so we could heal physically and mentally. We perform a water ceremony at the Bali Holy Spring Water Temple. It is a healing ritual to purify us on a physical, emotional and sensory level. Bali is also often referred to as the "holy water" island due to the myriad waterfalls on the island. Water is a key element in their purification ceremonies and water is considered one of the major forms of life energy. We will visit the fascinating rice fields which cascade from parallel slopes in to lush, rich valley and will swing over this deep valleys. We will explore the coffe plantation of Luwak, the world's most expensive coffee, and taste it. This coffee has a very interesting method of production: namely, the Tibetans (who live only on the island of Bali) eat the coffee bean and select the best quality beans for themselves. After the beans have passed through the digestive tract, they are harvested, washed and dried. In addition, magical shrines and temples are found everywhere and their visits are free. Local markets offer a variety of goods ranging from handicrafts - jewelery, wood ornaments, braids to street food.
This retreat will take place in Ubud – a Mecca of yoga, healing and culture. Ubud is a spiritual city, where you can enjoy good and healty food, different body treatments – massage, relaxation, floral baths. This is a place where traditional Balinese culture imbues every waking moment, where colourful offerings adorn the streets and where the hypnotic strains of gamelan are an ever-present soundtrack to everyday life. There is magic here and an unexplainable energy that nourishes your soul. The Balinese people keep this energy alive with their offerings and devotion to their Gods. |
